The downside of cinemas getting all swish and fancy with nice wine and no sticky patches on the seats is that watching a film is bloody expensive these days. But if you’re under 30, the Curzon cinema chain is here to help your bank balance.

Starting this week, its Bloomsbury cinema (in the Brunswick Centre behind Holborn) is offering £10 Voyager tickets for selected world cinema films. It kicks off this week with ‘Son of Saul’, the harrowing but unmissable (seriously, it's a masterpiece) Holocaust drama. There's no catch. You can buy on-peak tickets. But there are a limited number per screening.

Book online or using the cinema app Usheru.
