Get excited, London! After months of waiting, the ArcelorMittal Orbit slide is nearly ready for action. It was almost a year ago when we heard that the rumours were true – Anish Kapoor's Olympic Park sculpture was finally getting transformed into the giant helter-skelter it was always destined to be. And now it's finally happening. The final piece of the 178 metre-long slide has been put into place and will be opening to the public on June 24. Weeeee!
