Fancy a free burger this Thursday? Your wish is our command – but you'll need to form an orderly queue. Street-food favourite Le Bun is taking up residency at Birthdays in Dalston from this Thursday (October 13), and they're giving away 250 free burgers to celebrate. And we're not just talking about any old burger – they'll be handing out free truffle cheeseburgers as well as a free boozy drink. The giveaway kicks off at 5pm, so get down there early if you want to guarantee yourself a freebie.
If you can't make it down there on Thursday, Le Bun will be taking over the kitchen until the end of January, so you've got plenty of time to work your way through the menu. As well as a load of Le Bun classics, they'll be serving up some new dishes including Nashville-style hot chicken buns, some seriously hot cayenne pepper-seasoned fried chicken, a festive Christmas-tree-smoked deer bun, and pig cheek mac 'n' cheese. Oh, and a cheeseburger bloody mary, which is basically a bloody mary with a mini cheeseburger garnish. Need we say more?
