We may not have exotic beaches, 30-degree sunshine or a night tube service (yet), but London has been ranked the number one travel destination in the whole damn world. London has scooped the top spot on TripAdvisor's list of the top 25 best travel destinations in the world, which ranks places around the globe based on visitor reviews of restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions, as well as booking interest.
Our city also topped the list in 2012, and it's now the only place to have been named number one more than once. This year, it beat out sunnier spots including Istanbul, Marrakech, Paris and Siem Reap in Cambodia, which made up the rest of the top five.
