Mayfair’s snazzy Quaglino’s – a historic foodie haunt revamped by the D&D London group a couple of years back – is already a good looking spot, but they’re subtly upping the ante this month with a sugary pop-up. For all of June, their mezzanine bar has been transformed into a Martini and Meringues cocktail and dessert bar, in collaboration with Instagram faves the Meringue Girls.
The menu is short and sweet: four fruity martini cocktails, festooned with colourful little meringue kisses (all at £14, so they’d better be as good as they look); and four new desserts, including a deconstructed lemon meringue pie, and a honey and thyme tart with beehive meringues. The Girls themselves will be building an edible meringue installation to mark the occasion, too. Sweet!
The Martinis and Meringues pop-up bar is at Quaglino’s until Fri Jun 30.
