Last month, we brought you the news that Max Halley of Max’s Sandwich Shop was bringing his brilliant bready creations to east London with a residency at Birthdays. And now we’ve got even more exciting news – he’s throwing a huge party this Thursday (May 25).
To celebrate Birthdays’ fifth birthday and the launch of Max’s Sandwich Shop’s residency, they’re throwing a birthday bonanza where they’ll be giving away free sandwiches AND free booze, which means you can get your hands on one of these dreamy ham, egg and chip sarnies without handing over a penny.
Max is pulling out all the stops for the celebration – there are rumours he’s even bringing over some giant duck stickers. Ducks are a big deal at the Crouch Hill branch, as is Campari and orange juice, so hopefully that’ll be on the menu, too.
It’s basically the dream. Bring on the carb coma.
The party is on Thu May 25, from 7pm. Free.
Max’s Sandwich Shop is coming to Birthdays, 33-35 Stoke Newington Rd, N16 8BJ. The residency starts today, Tue May 23, and will run for six months.
