We could all do with disconnecting from our countless techy devices every now and again - especially when we're taking a much needed holiday. But it turns out that if London parents had a choice, they'd pick free wi-fi over the beach on their family hols any day. A survey by holiday provider Sovereign found that 54.57 percent of parents voted for an internet connection as the most important thing on their breaks, followed marginally by a lovely beach (54.11 percent), restaurants (46.58 percent), a nearby water park (40.87 percent) and spacious bedrooms (39.73 percent). Well, between flicking through the Instagram and enduring the kid's relentless demands for ice cream, that might just be a bit of a non-brainer. But when asked the best thing about going on holiday with the fam, 40.18 percent of parents said spending time together. Ahhhhh.

In other news, browsing Instagram makes Londoners happier.
