Although we usually prefer jam smothered between our slabs of sponge, we're not going to turn our nose up at extra carbs.
The bready treats aren't just bursting out of the three-foot tall cake – they're being given away, too. The first 100 customers to quote 'Prince George' at the till of the Covent Garden branch of Pizza Express on Bow Street on Friday will get a free portion of dough balls. Surely that's enough to persuade even the most ardent republican.
