You're probably already using the Underground's free wifi to scroll through your Facebook feed or consult Citymapper to check whether 'a good service' really is operating on all lines, but now you can use it to bury your head in a good book. To celebrate its eightieth birthday, Penguin has created a mobile-friendly site where you can access extracts from classic books, sneak a peek of unpublished new releases, listen to audio books or read interviews with authors including Harper Lee, Terry Pratchett and John Cleese. Access to the site is free and they'll be updating it everyday so that you can get your hands on a new daily read. Just make sure you don't get so engrossed that you miss your stop and accidentally end up somewhere in Zone 6.

Until August 28. Take a look at the site here
