Run with US comedian Kevin Hart around Battersea Park this month

Kevin Hart isn't exactly a household name on these isles, but if you're a fan, you'll know that for all his egotistical wisecracks, the pint-sized comic takes his fitness very seriously. So much so that the little dude launched a series of 5k runs across the US with Nike last year to inspire his fans to get fit (peep the hashtag #runwithhart). And here's the punchline – those runs were attended by the hundreds.

Basically, he's started a cult of swift-footed comedy lovers who'll do anything for a celebrity selfie, but hey, it's getting the people moving. And now we can get in on the act as he's hosting his first run in London on Sunday, January 24.

Up to 1,000 runners can register to join the funnyman on an early-doors jog around Battersea Park which, if nothing else, should be a hilarious way to keep the new year fitness vibes going a little bit longer.
