After making a bit of a mess of the original grand plans to launch the night tube, TfL has been quietly rolling out the 24-hour service across the Underground network. The nocturnal weekend service has already kicked off on the Victoria, Central and Jubilee lines, and it's set to launch on the Northern line on November 18.
So that just leaves the poor folks on the Piccadilly line waiting to join the night tube party. But now Sadiq Khan has put us out of our misery and announced that the night tube will launch on the Piccadilly line on December 16, meaning that all five night tube lines will be up and running by the festive season. It's a Christmas miracle!
