As long as summer’s still hanging around, you should squeeze in a gorgeous riverside view, preferably from a ship and quite possibly on the Thames. Well, guess what? It's all going down on Good Ship Benefit on the Embankment until the end of the month: we're talking brunches, cocktails, pampering, and of course, those epic views. So if you’re looking for some fun times with the pals, here’s a few good reasons why you should get down there before it sails away:
Their 'illusionary' afternoon tea that doesn't miss a trick
This is afternoon tea - but not as you know it. Cue savoury lollipops, pink and orange scones, disappearing dip, magic cocktails and other weird and wonderful illusions that work like a charm.
Rooftop Film Club are hosting some seriously classic films
Kick back and relax with a glass of Pimms and poshcorn as you watch 'Titanic', 'Muriel's Wedding' or 'The Devil Wears Prada' on a Hawaiian-style hoola deck. If Leo and Kate leave you a little teary-eyed, you can also sneak off to the Captain's cabin to sort out that runny mascara with a free makeover. Your friends will be none the wiser.
You can try a load of fun fitness classes
On select dates, you can sign up for a 30-minute hula hoop workout, discover your inner yogi, or get good and sweaty at a 45-minute session courtesy of PHIIT.
They're hosting a bottomless brunch
That's all the Bloody Mary's you can guzzle from 12-6pm every Sunday, plus a cracking spread including french toast, poached eggs and crushed avocado.
You'll have a good 'ol giggle, from a bunch of Funny Women
The Funny Women Festival will be taking over the ship's Brow Lounge on August 18, 25 and the 31 for a hilarious night of comedy from known and new acts.
And you can win stuff
If you get to The Good Ship before it all wraps up on August 31 and share a photo on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TOgoodshipbenefit, you can win big. Like £250 of Benefit Cosmetics big. But you gotta be in it to win it, so check out the entries so far here. Good luck!
