If you're looking for something healthy to eat (or, in fact, anything to eat), an old phone box might not be your first port of call, but that's all about to change thanks to a new salad bar that's just opened in Holborn. Spier's Salads has given an old phone box in Bloomsbury Square a new lease of life by transforming it into a tiny one-stop salad shop.

Ben Spier, who runs the company, offers a selection of five salads every day, which cost between £4.25 and £7.50. The salads vary depending on season, but you can expect way more than a bowl of limp iceberg lettuce, with dishes including roasted chicken with sumac, pomegranate molasses, chilli and sesame seeds, and avocado, messicani pasta, broad beans, cucumber, pumpkin seeds and coriander.

Bloomsbury Square, WC1A. Open every Tuesday and Wednesday between 11.30am–2.30pm.
