Soon you'll be able to do a spin class on a bus

Bored of the daily commute? Sexy spin boutique gym 1Rebel has announced plans to make the trek to work a lot livelier – by plonking a spin studio in the middle of a bus. Yes, really.

Launching later in the year, Ride 2 Rebel will involve picking up keen spinners from four locations around town and get them moving and grooving as they ride into the city, finishing up at 1Rebel’s St Mary’s Axe branch for a smoothie and shower.

No news yet on whether these party rides are man-powered like those pedi-buses that terrorise the West End at the weekends – but anything that can help Londoners squeeze in a workout in their spare time can only be a good thing. Let's just hope TfL doesn't get any bright ideas: the last thing we need is treadmills on the tube...
