There are still 109 sleeps until the big day itself but our collective Christmas dreams have already come true, because of this epic news.

Vanilla Ice is preparing to light up a stage at London's Ally Pally this Christmas. His brand new invention? In his first performance in London since 2011, Vanilla Ice is going to be performing... on ice.

This, to borrow his lyrics, is a hell of a concept.

The 'Dancing on Ice' star, rapper and lyrical poet will be showcasing his best-known hits, including of course, '90s smash 'Ice Ice Baby', over three dates in the run up to Christmas, December 20-22. He'll perform a 30-minute show three times each evening. It's not quite daily and nightly, but we'll take it.

Tickets are currently on sale, and you've got two options: see the show or see the show while ice skating. Don't be a chump, you know what to do.

Already planning ahead to the festivities? Here's our guide to Christmas in London
