Balmy summer nights spent on London’s rooftops are a distant memory - winter has officially dug its heels in and we’re just about ready to go into hibernation. Good news then, that the people behind Underground Film Club are back for more subterranean antics. This time they’re taking crazy golf deep underground and transforming The Vaults in Waterloo into a nine-hole course, complete with challenging loops, half-pipes and a tricky five-foot drop. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, foodie giants Mark Hix and Hawksmoor’s Richard Sandiford will be serving up a changing menu including roast chicken and stuffing sandwiches and pulled pork hot dogs. And the Caddy Shack bar will be keeping golfers well-hydrated with excellently named cocktails including Tiger’s Wood, Golfbuster and Stay Puft, which should help to even the playing field even if your downswing is a bit sub-par.

Birdies opens this Wednesday November 11. Get your tickets for Birdies now.
