Want a taste of getting tanked down under? Famed Aussie boozer The Baxter Inn is landing at The Bloomsbury Club Bar on May 24, and this joint looks so much swankier than Walkabout.
Crowned ‘Best Bar in Australasia’ for the third year in a row at the 2016 World’s Best Bar Awards, this Sydney-based whisky cellar won the hearts of a whole continent with its banging cocktails and 630-strong selection of single malts.
Sadly for London, this is just a four-day residency, so we reckon all those bottles won’t be making the trip, but the folks at Baxter have promised they’ll be serving up their rarest and most exclusive whiskies. They’re also bringing over their world famous Old Fashioned On Tap – yep, that's right – a cocktail on draught. Plus, there are free takeaway pretzels, so you can fill your pockets on the way out.
