Looking to fill that 'Pokemon Go!'-shaped chasm in your life with an app you might have a slightly longer relationship with?

Want to lie to people about the depth of your Shakespeare knowledge?

Or are you just really, really into the man they call The Bard?

Any which way, as part of the ongoing celebrations marking 400 years since his death, the National Theatre has today launched a Shakespeare app for your mobile phone device.

Featuring bags of content including exclusive video interviews with the likes of Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and Derek Jacobi, it takes you on a journey through all 55 major Shakespeare productions the NT has staged, from Peter O’Toole in 1963’s ‘Hamlet’ to Polly Findlay’s ‘As You Like It’ (pictured), which wound up earlier this year. It's free, though note that it has a hefty 12+ rating due to 'mild horror' 'fear themes' and 'mild suggestive content and nudity' – phwoar!
