No need to disturb the moths – you can leave your black tie at home next time you visit the Royal Albert Hall. The venue is holding one of its upcoming events in a rather surprising space – its loading bay.

Located three floors underground, The Royal Albert Hall's graffiti-covered loading bay is going to be the setting for a late-night silent disco in November.

Part of the venue's Festival of Film, Soundtrack Silent Disco will be movie-themed to 'celebrate the magic of the movies'. DJs will play a selection of tracks from classic films, while partygoers will be encouraged to dress up as their favourite film characters.

You can get your groove on at the silent disco on November 4 from 10pm onwards.

The Festival of Film is made up of 27 events, including screenings accompanied by live orchestras, comedy nights, lectures, workshops, a film quiz and an exhibition of vintage film posters.

Tickets cost £19.82 and are available now at royalalberthall.com
