The sound of lapping waves comes to the tube tomorrow

Haggard commuters will be treated to the soothing sounds of the sea at selected London Underground stations tomorrow, including Waterloo, Embankment and Seven Sisters, as part of project curated by the National Trust and Transport for London.

To mark 50 years since the launch of the Neptune Coastline campaign, the event aims bring nature to the Underground and, through sound, conjure memories of dramatic coastal scenery and holidays at the sea for those passing through the stations. Close your eyes and you'll be by the sea, almost.
