Who says kids have all the fun? Les Enfants Terribles are throwing a Roald Dahl-themed dinner party this Autumn and it's strictly adult-only.
Hosted by two of Dahl's most despicable characters, Mr and Mrs Twit, the immersive dining experience will see The Vaults near Waterloo turned into the fictional couple's windowless house and ghastly garden.
Expect a meal on a grand and gruesome scale as Les Enfants Terribles have collaborated with gastronomers Bompas and Parr and the creative team at Creature of London.
You're invited to tuck into what's described as concealed canapes and gruesome hors d’oeuvres, a baroque bird pie banquet and pudding that promises to be perilous. To wash it all down there's a prickly cocktail apertif, as well as wine or non-alcoholic drinks. That's if the 90-minute long entertainment from your vile hosts doesn't put you off your food...
If you want to start the fun early, the Muggle-Wumps Downside Up Cocktail Cavern will be serving up curious cocktails and sides from 6pm on show nights.
