There's a new dating app to help you find love on the tube

In search of love and fed up of missed connections, hopeless gazes and stilted conversations exchanged on your commute to work? There's a new dating app in town, which hopes to match people up on the tube.

'Find Your Commuter' works in a similar way to other dating apps: fill in your profile, upload a flattering picture and add some information about the station where you start and finish your commute, the line you use and the approximate time of your journey. The app will then present you with all the people taking a similar route, for you to peruse.

If that all sounds like it could potentially get a bit creepy, you'll be pleased to hear that there is a vetting process. Inspired by the oyster card, the app works on a 'touch in/touch out' basis. If you like someone, you 'touch in' with them and if they like you back, they can 'touch out' and you can begin what will hopefully be a fruitful and engaging conversation. At the very least, you'll probably find someone to share your Central line woes.

Keep an eye on findyourcommuter.com for more details.
