If your idea of a perfect afternoon is a game of ping-pong and a stroll around an art gallery then you better hotfoot it over to Hoxton this week. 'The Art of Ping Pong' sees artists do away with traditional canvases and channel their creativity onto ping-pong paddles instead. The exhibition is the fourth installment of The Art of Ping Pong – an annual event where illustrators turn those boring old paddles into works of art to be auctioned off in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society. So far the event has raised over £10,000 for charity. Fans can bid for the paddles at theartofpingpong.co.uk for the entire month of November.

'The Art of Ping Pong' is on at Shoreditch’s 71A Gallery, 42 Hoxton Square, N1 6PB. Until November 8.
