There’s a thirtieth birthday screening of ‘Dirty Dancing’ coming to Leicester Square (with free drinks and live dancing)

‘Dirty Dancing’ turns 30 this year. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Odeon and Time Out are throwing a birthday screening for the film at the Odeon Leicester Square on Friday October 20. And this is no ordinary screening: the evening includes a free glass of fizz for everybody and a live performance of key scenes from the film before the film begins.

Wonderfully camp, hopelessly romantic and bathed in nostalgia, ‘Dirty Dancing’ is brought to life by stunning dance sequences and songs like Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes’s Oscar-winning ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’ as we follow the romantic escapades of Baby (Jennifer Grey) and Johnny (the late, great Patrick Swayze).

If you were too young to catch ‘Dirty Dancing’ in cinemas back in 1987, this is your chance to see what the fuss is all about. If you’re already a fan, you’ll know this is an evening that’s impossible to miss.

Get tickets for the thirtieth birthday screening of ‘Dirty Dancing’ on Friday October 20.
