1. Watch a free screening of the captivating documentary 'Man on Wire' at tonight's edition of Merchant Square's series of free weekly movie nights. The film starts at 6:30pm, but arrive early to nab a deck chair.

2. If you've got a stitch to wear, take yourself out tonight for a quiz and karaoke tribute to The Smiths - 'Bigmouth Strikes Again'. Get your team together and head over to Upstairs at the Ritzy in Brixton at 7:30pm for some fun-filled Smiths trivia. Be sure to stay until 9:30pm for a Smiths sing-a-long.

3. Today is National Burger Day, and you can expect plenty of beef at the 'International Burger Off' at Balham's Brother Marcus restaurant. The carnivorous competition will see four chefs battle it out to create the 'best burger' from different corners of the globe. And you get to taste them all and decide who wins. Tickets cost £30 and the meaty madness kicks off at 7pm tonight.
