Three things you won’t want to miss in London this weekend

1. Carnival isn’t over until London says it’s over: and we say it’s still in full plume. Get a refill of rum and steel pans at the soca-soaked Hackney Carnival parade going round Hackney Town Hall Square and Dalston Lane this Sunday. The madness starts on Queensbridge Road at noon.

2. Rummage for typewriters and ’70s clobber from the boot of a Cadillac at the Classic Car Boot Sale in King’s Cross. It’s one for the gearheads too: you’ll find Vespas, lowriders and hot rods everywhere. Start vintage digging at Granary Square.

3. A Chinese food festival is coming to Potter Fields Park this weekend. More than 20 stalls serving will be serving up authentic Chinese dishes. Fill up on mini-meals from Bun House, Ekachai and waffle-masters Bufle.
