1. Don't miss The Museum of Drug Policy, which is popping up at the Ugly Duck in Bermondsey over the weekend dishing out free, non-judgmental and confidential advice about drugs, thanks to UK charity, Release. See an interactive exhibition about how drug laws shape societies and get clued up about drugs and nightlife at a talk led by east London’s Oval Space. Entry is free.

2. Paper Dress Vintage is turning 10 and to celebrate they're throwing a big party on Saturday night with bands, DJs fireworks, go-go dancers and loads of birthday cake to chomp your way through. Entry is £6 to £10.

3. Blackheath Fireworks is one of the few major displays in the capital that’s still free. Massive crowds of up to 100,000 head down to this Guy Fawkes bash with colourful fairground rides, which will take over the heath at noon, food and drink stalls which will open at 5pm, and a sparkling display, which starts at 8pm.
