Three ways to feel smug this month

Now that autumn’s here you might want to get reacquainted with some of those resolutions that didn’t last past March, starting with getting your health and fitness in check. Here are three great events that should help you on your path and do your body good:

Organic Beauty Week

The Soil Association is kicking this off with loads of promos, events and workshops to sway you towards a lifestyle that uses products only made from the good stuff. Expect discounts off big beauty brand goodies and plenty of freebies that’ll make your skin glow (and not necessarily from the free organic wine, although that might help...). September 14–21.

Pop Brixton Wellness Week

Pop Brixton Wellness Week

Pop Brixton

Since popping up in May, this new community hub on the Southside has thrived with its mix of foodie stop-offs, arty exhibitions, retail outlets and events. Their latest will see them expand their early-doors yoga/pilates classes with a week-long fitness programme including Discobarre and capoeira. Stubborn body fat, we pity you. September 28–October 4.

Fare Healthy festival

Issy Croker

Last year’s Fare Healthy sold out so fast, you couldn’t score a ticket for all the quinoa in Peru. But this year’s fest is happening in the spacious Borough Market  and will feature a stellar line-up of clean-eating champs including Hemsley & Hemsley and Deliciously Ella, as well as trendy workouts from Frame and Hulafit. It's no surprise then that the first round of tickets were goners – but a second wave of tickets (including the currently sold-out talks and classes) will be released today (September 14) so you might want to get in there quick or be prepared to haggle with that quinoa. September 27.
