Tickets are on sale for Dishoom's Holi festival paint party

Spring is here and that means it’s nearly time for London’s best paint party, Dishoom’s Holi festival. This year it’s on April 10 at York Hall in Bethnal Green and, as usual, it’s going to get messy!

They're splitting the festivities up into two colourful celebrations, one daytime for family fun (£25), and an evening session with a band, dancing and booze (£28). There's food, story telling and, of course, plenty of paint-throwing throughout. I've been to a lot of Holi celebrations and this one is my favourite, as you learn all about the history of the Hindu spring festival, eat lots of delicious Dishoom snacks and chuck around so much gulal (colour powder) that you'll be washing it out of your hair for weeks.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 2pm at dishoom.com/holi and will sell out quickly.
