It's little more than a month until 'T2 Trainspotting' – the sequel to 1996's 'Trainspotting' – will be released in cinemas, and we discover exactly what Renton, Spud, Begbie and Sick Boy have been up to for the past 20 years.

All the original main cast, including Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller, have teamed up with Danny Boyle, the director of the first film, to make a follow-up to the hit film based on Irvine Welsh's novel.

But before then we'll have a chance to revisit the 1996 film on the big screen: the original 'Trainspotting' will be re-released in cinemas for one night only on Tuesday January 17. So that means that January will bring not one, but two chances to see a 'Trainspotting' movie on the big screen.
