If you're planning to go out this weekend – and who wouldn't be, we live in London ferchrissakes – then have a long, hard think about how you'll be making your way around because TfL has planned works all over the place. Five lines will be partially suspended to allow for drainage, track and Crossrail work, and part of the Overground shutdown will continue for eight whole days. Deep breaths, people. Here's exactly which lines are affected and where.

Circle

Saturday and Sunday The entire line will be closed.

District

Saturday and Sunday No service between Tower Hill and Upminster.

Hammersmith & City

Saturday and Sunday No service between King's Cross St Pancras and Barking.

Overground

Saturday and Sunday Line suspended between Romford and Upminster.

Sunday only No services between Richmond and Willesden Junction, as well as Gospel Oak and Barking.

Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 No service between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, or between Surrey Quays and New Cross.

Metropolitan

Saturday and Sunday Line suspended between King's Cross St Pancras and Aldgate.
