On any normal day, an Uber LUX is about as fancy as it gets when it comes to getting around London. But today is no ordinary day, today is Back To The Future Day, as we're sure you're all aware – we've only been waiting 26 years for it. But in case you're not up to speed, in 'Back To The Future Part II', Marty McFly travels to the future – October 21 2015, to be precise – and larks around on a hoverboard wearing self-tying trainers.
Well, we're now officially living in the future because that day has come. And to celebrate this momentous day, Uber and Pepsi have teamed up to give Londoners free rides in a DeLorean, with unlimited Pepsi Max for the ride until 3pm today. It all sounds great, but good luck getting one. We tried and all we got was this lousy message about all cars being in the future.
We thought this was the future, dammit!
