It's pretty much impossible to remember life before Uber. It's become a saviour when things get messy post-midnight, and after impromptu trips to Ikea, but we've always had one gripe with the app: the lack of advance booking.
Luckily, Uber has got our backs, and will be introducing a scheduled ride feature over the next fortnight. From 4pm today, the function will be available to Uber for business customers and it will be steadily rolled out for the rest of us Londoners over the next two weeks. It will allow customers to book from 15 minutes in advance so you can pin down a cab in your area, or if you're super organised, up to 30 days in advance.
