So you've read all about the candidates, you've already voted (or are heading to your polling station after work, aren't you?!), made your ✖ and now all you can do is sit and wait with your fingers crossed.

BUT FOR HOW LONG I HEAR YOU CRY?

Well, the polls will close at 10pm tonight but it seems that we won't actually know the winner until tomorrow evening. The London Assembly votes also need to be counted and that announcement is expected around 3pm tomorrow. Whereas the votes to find the 'new Boris' are predicted to take bloomin' ages and so we won't know until sometime between 5pm and 10pm Friday eve. Yeesh. Luckily, we'll probably be in the pub by then so can celebrate/commiserate accordingly.
