Beautiful Sentence

An evening devoted to writings by women who have been, or sitll are, imprisoned. Excerpts from 'Release', an anthology of poetry and testimonies by women in prison, will be read by poet Lea Thorn, former prisoner and Women Moving Forward campaigner Farah Damji and Laurel Townhead, the policy and campaigns manager at Women In Prison. There will also be a screening of Suzanne Cohen's documentary 'Beautiful Sentence'.
