Final Academy

To mark the thirtieth anniversary of the last Final Academy, which had the honour of guests William Burroughs – a key name from the Beat Generation – painter/poet Brion Gysin and psychedelic punk outfit Psychic TV, Joe Ambrose hosts this twenty-first century version. Tonight's entertainment includes a screening of 'Words of Advice: William S Burroughs On the Road', US artist and filmmaker Raymond Salvatore Harmon, poet/photographer Gerard Malanga (who worked closely with Andy Warhol in the '60s), music by Philipe Petite and more.
