Freedom In 50 Words

It's hard to think of a time when Amnesty International wasn't in our lives, but it was only 50 years ago come July that AI was founded by labour lawyer Peter Benenson. To mark the anniversary, Waltham Forest Group are hosting an evening of spoken word and music, with open mic spots. Poets John Stiles and and Jacqueline Gabbitas appear alongside author Shaun Attwood and singer Darren Hayman.
