Things to do, Literary events
In a bid to explore technology and automation, author Nikesh Shukla performs as a comic book-obsessed scientist with a bionic arm and poet Ross Sutherland delivers a lecture and film titled 'Every Rendition on a Broken Machine', about robot poetry and translation, which was inspired by the late great JG Ballard, who died on April 19 two years ago. Hosted by poet/magician Nathan Penlington, there will also be appearances from Tamarin Norwood and her 'unspoken word' piece based around sign language, Paul Granjon with his audio-visual project and sound-collagists FOUND.
