Mimetic 2012: Waiting for Stanley

Leela Bunce is better known as Audacity Chutzpah, one of the burlesque scene's funniest and most endearing performers. She puts her clowning chops front and centre in this show about a woman waiting in 1945 for her husband's return from the front. Her memories of the home front and his experiences of war combine in a warm, inventive and amusing show that deploys various brands of clowning, mime, puppetry and moving-image to powerful effect.
