The bespectacled poet and comedian reads his poem, 'Thank You London Underground', in full. Hegley was specially commissioned to write this new work to celebrate 150 years of the London Underground. The Apollo Chamber Players, conducted by David Chernaik, will give a performance of 'Betjeman's London'. There will also be readings of assorted poems by Hegley and Cicely Herbert.
