Frisky & Mannish: The College Years

Reigning champions of pop revisionism Frisky & Mannish bring their latest knock-out Edinburgh show to town. Taking a trawl through the back catalogue of popular music, the duo – Frisky booming and brilliant on the mic, Mannish catty and deft at the keyboard – show a keen ear for parody and pastiche as well as well-honed chemistry. A focus on duets and 'collision theory' notwithstanding, this new show is more of the same, but we aren't complaining about that. Working their way from Brandy and Monica to Freddie and Montserrat, deconstructing this and fusing those, it's a witty, raucous hoot.
