Founded in 1936, the Players' Theatre Club has long been dedicated to revisiting the songs and atmosphere of Victorian music hall, mixing living social history with a good old singalong. Its active members today range in age from 14 to 70-plus and this celebration of the Club's 75th anniversary promises a trip back to the form's 1890s heyday, the age of Marie Lloyd, magic, comedy, music and a dash of sauce. The starry line-up provisionally includes Jan Hunt, Julia Sutton, Sheila Matthews, Ben Stock, Ellie Bamber and the Magic Circle's Michael Pearce – and one June Whitfield. Club Chairman Johnny Dennis comperes.
