Art deco: the golden age of poster design
A blockbuster poster exhibition celebrating 100 years of the art deco style comes to the London Transport Museum. Visitors will be able to pore over more than 100 original 1920s and 1930s transport posters and poster artworks, alongside photography, short films, ceramics and other objects to mark the centenary of the 1925 Paris exhibition where the style originated. Highlights include designs by Edward McKnight Kauffer, Dora Batty and Jean Dupas, including some rarely seen vintage posters.Â
