Both ‘Interstellar’ and ‘Gravity’ took us out of this world, but the reputation of Stanley Kubrick’s classic – now re-released – is safe. It’s not that ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ doesn’t look dated – it does, a bit – but it remains as intelligent and...

A sweet, deeply personal portrayal of female adolescence that’s more attuned to the bonds between girlfriends than casual flings with boys, writer-director Greta Gerwig’s beautiful 'Lady Bird' flutters with the attractively loose rhythms of yout...

Reliably, director Guillermo del Toro’s mind goes to squishy, sexual places. He’s a true voluptuary, not just the guy behind those bony creatures from 'Pan’s Labyrinth' but also, per last year’s Crimson Peak', a believer in grand, melodramatic f...

You definitely wouldn’t have bet your spaceship on this Han Solo spin-off movie being anything other than a hunk of junk. The ditching of original directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord (‘21 Jump Street’) – which was well published and just shy of a...

Good size screen and only £5.99, just as good as any other Vue but a fraction the price of central London. Staff were as pleasant as any other Vue, plus area has a lot of restaurant and pubs to go after,

Small screen and absolutely disgusting toilets. Dirty and so smelly I could barely breathe. Smelt like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The manager was rude and unhelpful when I told him about it. He didn't seem bothered by it at all and was patronising me. Tickets may be cheap but there's a reason why. Stay clear.
