Print and Bind Weekend Workshop

Rather than holing students up in an art studio or classroom, this two-day workshop invites participants to cycle along the Thames path on provided Brompton bikes while taking inspiration from the scenery and architecture. Tutors will then demonstrate the art of solar printmaking and guide students in etching and printing several prints using found materials. Day two will be based at the London Centre of Book Arts where glueless bookbinding will be introduced, and the class will have a chance to print a cover using woodtype and a printing press.
