The facts about Greg Wilson have been written many times before, but they do kinda etch out his importance to DJing, so let's skim over the brief again. He was the first resident at The Haçienda, the first DJ to mix live on UK TV, he helped pioneer electrofunk as a movement and genre, and he retired from DJing for about 20 years, before starting up again in the mid-2000s. Oh, and he got rather messily and controversially involved with the whole Nina Kraviz/Bathgate episode earlier this year. All good? Ok, now all you need to know is that this party will be a masterclass in funk, soul, house and electro from one of the pros, and that the dancefloor will be roadblocked all night. Helping Wilson out will be Matt Neale and Stu Clark of Wolf Music.
