If life ever gets boring you can usually rely on the Happy Mondays' finest tambourine shaker/maracas player/dancer to liven things up, whether he's standing for MP, mucking about in Celebrity Big Brother or baffling South American tribes with his resistance to their potent hallucinogenic drug – not such a mystery to us, having witnessed his years of dedication to caning it.
His latest endeavour is a party at Islington boozer and venue the Old Queen's Head, paying tribute to the second era of acid house that he and the Mondays played a part in. Details are a little thin on the ground, but we're guessing there'll be DJs spinning some acid house bangers and other party-starters, plus Bez doing his inimitable thing. Possibly with maracas.
