Hot Wuk Carnival Yard Party

Not only are marvellously mischievous party people The Heatwave holding a Carnival warm-up party with a truck in a club and appearing at the Different Strokes Soundsystem on Sunday at Carnival, they're also finishing the fun with a daytime yard party on the Monday. It's a ticketed affair, but a ticket gets you access to the first-ever Hot Wuk Carnival bash. Held in a secret courtyard location just minutes away from the main parade, there'll be a killer bashment soundsystem blasting out bashment, soca and dancehall, zero noise restrictions, bar, jerk barbecue and reggae supplied by the Rootikal crew, plus free whistles and horns. Selectors include Earl Gateshead, Mr Faso, David Hill and The Heatwave family. Should be an absolute Carnival belter.
