We know it's wrong to play favourites, but somehow Detroit techno futurist Jeff Mills' UFO pursuits kind of seem more plausible than that of Happy Mondays' hedonist Shaun Ryder and mockney mockery Danny Dyer, maybe because Mills' mind-altering bleep odysseys seem the perfect soundtrack to a journey through space. Whatever the reason, his UFO-themed audiovisual show, 'Something In The Sky: Taken', being performed at consistently great techno night Lost, should be incredible, particularly when fellow dub-techno legend Moritz von Oswald (formerly of renowned German duo Basic Channel) and Warp Records' electronica pioneers Plaid are there as well. Immense scenes at south London's Fire, clear that diary and get involved.
