Building Six, the club formerly known as Matter and Proud2, has had a bit of a chequered past with all its closures and whatnot, but if anything can lift the venue off the ground instyle it's this formidable combo: O2's new partnership with promotion pros London Warehouse Events and urban tastemaker MistaJam's acclaimed Speakerbox party to kick things off. It's a 3,000 capacity venue – a big ask for almost any club night – but Speakerbox has come prepared with a killer line-up, bubbling over with bass of all shapes and sizes. On the bill for the inaugural party are D&B innovator DJ Fresh (formerly of D&B upstarts Bad Company), UK garage kingpin and recent FabricLive mixer DJ EZ, breaks/hip hop/electro beat-slingers Stanton Warriors, drum and bass new school face Shy FX, smoky D&B producer Breakage going back-to-back with Dismantle, and loads more low frequency-loving artists, who'll no doubt be bringing enough bass to shake this behemoth of a venue.
